Our History:
Robin Long has been creating memories and smiles with her delightful Teddy Bear Sculptures for 12 years, now.
She started sculpting Teddy Bears one day after innocently playing with a few scraps of a bead-making friends leftovers.
Her creations were named Little BEAR HUGS by Robin in 1995 and the name was changed to BearHugs4u2 in 2001.
Since that first little teddy bear sculpture, Robin has passionately dedicated herself to perfecting her art and has eagerly shared her delightful bears with family, friends and all those she has come in contact with. It is through their continual delight in her work and their constant support and encouragement that she now offers this special collection to the world!
Every piece in this unique collection has been lovingly formed and sculpted by the artist, in her studio in Newport, Pennsylvania. All of her bears are painstakingly and individually made. Robin delights in paying attention to the finest detail and each bear possesses a personality and distinctness of it’s own. No two bears are ever alike! Every sculpture is signed, dated and numbered by Robin herself and carries her official trademark, a sculptured heart in every little bare bottom!

Each sculpture is created in the beautiful mountains of Perry County, Pa.. Robin finds the natural surroundings a perfect setting to reflect on the gift of life and all of it's wonderful blessings. The peaceful mountains are where she finds her inspiration and allows her creative passion to take over. It is her obsessive love for the sweet innocence of Teddy Bears and the humorous way she looks at life that has led to this delightful collection.
It is the artist’s heartfelt desire to capture life’s special moments and wonder with each bear she brings to life.

BEAR DETAILS:
All Bears are signed, dated, and numbered by the artist. Most bears can be created and shipped within 30 days, however due to holidays, the intricity of your sculpture and the artist's schedule, please check below and/or e-mail the artist to allow adequate time for creation and delivery of your special Teddy Bear Sculpture. The artist will always e-mail you if your order is expected to take longer than expected.

ORIGINAL ONE OF A KIND Teddy Bears - The artist has designed and made only one like this. Your original will never be duplicated. All One of a Kind Bears are available for immediate adoption and shipment.

LIMITED EDITION Teddy Bears - These are select bears the artist has agreed to duplicate in very limited quantities. Each piece is sculpted upon reservation of the next number in the series and dated accordingly. Each Limited Edition Teddy Bear comes with a certificate of authenticity. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for creation and shippment of your Limited Edition Teddy Bear.

PERSONALIZED Teddy Bears - Personalization makes it possible for the artist to add names, dates and messages to your figurines turning them into One of a Kind Keepsakes of the finest Heirloom quality.All personalized bears are made to order and will be similar to the example. This allows you to pick favorite colors or messages to make it Beary Personal! Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for completion of your personalized teddy bear plus adequate time for delivery.

CUSTOM Teddy Bears - The artist has created, in clay, business logos and signs, duplicated childhood teddies and toys, designed one of a kind wedding cake toppers and birth announcements, has done unique caricatures, and is able to sculpt just about anything else you can think of. IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All of BearHugs4u2 Originals's figurines are lovingly brought to life by hand without using molds, patterns, or pre-fabricated parts. All bears are one-of-a-kind. Even two bears made from the exact colors and or accessories will have different personalities and expressions. Please allow variations in colors and other details that differ from pictured versions shown on this web site. All sizes shown are all approximate.
All creations are individually hand crafted of polymer clay. Each color is added by using specially pigmented resin clays, with the eyes being applied or hand-painted. All of the "clothing" that they wear is also made in a similar process, with the exception of applied embellishments. These may consist of lace, satin, beads, gemstones, fur, feathers, stones, shells or small amounts of other embellishments.
THESE ARE NOT TOYS! These are fragile decorative items with attached pieces, not suitable for children to play with.
GIFT SERVICES:
We are happy to ship your gifts directly. The online order form has a gift message section where your gift message will be included at no charge.
If your sculpture is a gift and requires expedited or special shipping, we are very happy to help.
Please be sure to let us know. We can enclose a greeting with the item.
We also provide gift wrapping in gorgeous teddy bear wrapping paper, tissue and ribbons.

LAYAWAY SERVICE
Particularly helpful for holidays and customized artist creations. Just send 20% deposit with your order. Items will be delivered when full payment has been received. You will have six months to pay for your Teddy Bear Sculptures. You can break your payments down any way you want as long as the entire layaway is paid for within the 6 month period.
